This body of work is a direct reflection of my daily human movements in repetitive mechanical form. Exploring growth and curiosity these machines are essentially portraits of my daily motions. Samples of my living spaces, everyday structures, and segments of the narratives I encounter begin to come to life. Human object interactions replay almost like a gif, but it’s not on a screen. It’s tangibly there performing a task. Blending industrial and domestic forms with digital and physical material, I invite you to broaden and redefine your sense of reality. This work is like mechanical asmr, creating strange human like movements with janky imperfect machines, operating more like performative gestures than permanent sculptures. I’m interested in our ever-changing object human landscape and how the ways we place and define objects can uncover peoples, personalities, identities, and societal status.
